Privacy

This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing to fill in, so there is nothing for it to collect from you directly.

What the site itself stores

Nothing. The site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's storage. The light and dark toggle is a checkbox read by CSS, which is why the theme resets when you reload rather than following you between visits.

Analytics

The published site loads Google Analytics, which records that a page was viewed and the usual things that come with a request: a page address, a referrer, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and details about your browser and device. It sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits apart. It is used to see which examples people actually read, and nothing else is done with it.

Google's own description of what it collects is in the Google privacy policy. Blocking analytics with a browser setting or an extension does not affect anything on this site, since none of the content depends on it.

Fonts

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page also makes a request to Google's font servers. That request carries your IP address and browser details in the same way any request to any server does.

What is not here

No advertising, no third-party trackers beyond the analytics described above, no embedded social widgets, no comment system, and no mailing list. Links out to other sites, such as documentation on MDN, are ordinary links: those sites have their own policies and this one has no say in them.
